How it works
Avodart (Dutasteride) blocks the action of 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme responsible for changing testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Lower DHT levels prevents the prostate from growing.Doxazosin is a selective alpha blocker. It relaxes the urethra and prostate, which makes it easier to urinate. It also lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels.
