Detrol (tolterodine) is an antimuscarinic. It helps people control the urge to urinate by relaxing the bladder muscles and stopping them from spasming.Vesicare (Solifenacin) is an anticholinergic. It relaxes the bladder muscles by lowering muscle spasms. This helps people go to the bathroom less often and better control their urination.
