Oleptro (Trazodone) is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SRI) antidepressant. It increases serotonin activity in the brain, which regulates mood.Limbitrol (chlordiazepoxide / amitriptyline) is a combination of 2 medicines. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine, and it calms activity in a part of the brain responsible for emotional responses. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant, and it raises the amount of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain, which can improve mood.
