    • It is important to check with your doctor before starting any other medicines, vitamins, or supplements to make sure it doesn't interfere with how your anti-rejection medicines work.
    • You will be more likely to catch an infection so practice good hand hygiene and avoid close contact with people who are sick. Also, wear gloves when you garden, keep any wounds clean and covered, and avoid sharing towels.
    • Can make you burn easily so wear protective clothing and sunblock if you have to be out in the sun.
    • Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice while on Prograf (tacrolimus).
