Zocor (simvastatin) is cholesterol-lowering medicine called a statin. It helps lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL).Trilipix is a cholesterol-lowering medicine. It removes triglycerides from your body and makes it easier to process "bad" cholesterol (LDL). This also increases "good" cholesterol (HDL).
