  • Did not work for me; in fact, made me feel worse and suicidal for a couple of weeks, with much more wild mood swings. Switched to Wellbutrin which was much better.

Duration taken: a month or so
  • The worst side effects for me is memory loss and dry mouth. I struggle to complete a task from beginning to end without getting distracted.. Kinda like adult ADD or something.
    Age: 38
    Gender: woman
Taken for: Anxiety and depression amongst other things
    Duration taken: a few months
  • Be sure to take it at the same time every day. I get horrible, migraine-like headaches if I take it late. Also, I've gained so much weight since taking it.

    Taken for: Depression
Duration taken: two years or more
  • Helped me during a difficult separation. However, I no longer felt motivated. Switched to taking it at night due to drowsiness, and I gained 10 pounds. Weaned myself off 5 months ago, terrible side effects and can't lose the weight.
    Age: 49
    Gender: woman
Duration taken: two years or more
  • Started working after about 3 weeks, and have felt amazing since. Did change my sleeping habits, but nothing too drastic.

  • My emotional problems were MS induced: depression, anxiety, and PBA (emotional incontinence). This drug relieved all these symptoms within two days of starting. I've not noticed any side effects.

  • The only side effect I experienced was sweating, a lot more than I'm used to. And I wasn't even hot. Apart from that it started working within a week but after 2 months of taking it my anxiety returned so am looking for something stronger.

  • This is my second time taking this after trying many others. It works great for my depression but the sweating is horrible and hot flashes!! Always take it at night and it doesn't affect my sleep. But I do feel very tired in the mornings.
