  • I find the prefilled syringes to be significantly less painful than the pen. Also, I only inject my thighs.

  • Travelling can be huge pain with this refridgeerator medication. There are 30 hour chill containers out there. One piece of advice that really help me is if you can find ice. Do to the nearest fast food place and bring a ziploc bag

  • I was switched to Humira by Aetna after taking Enbrel for 15 years (I am one of the original users before it was approved). I have been taking Humira for 6 weeks and finding it less effective. Definitely have more finger/thumb pain and facial redness. Cannot recommend at this time and hoping to switch back to Enbrel.

  • I read that thight injecting is safer. A short time out the fridge before helps for injection pain - I think?

  • I used humira to treat my chrons and UC. initially it seemed to work well, until I broke out with psoriasis (pustular ) first on my hands and feet, and now all over, I think possibly even in my mouth.
