  • When you start medication you should take in evening right after dinner for the first week or two if you've never taken a blood pressure medication. It makes you feel a bit odd shortly after taking it in the beginning and is best to take when you can be comfortable and not doing much. After two weeks, then it's best to take in the morning with food. After few weeks I found it impossible to go to sleep if taken in the evening, as it now gives me a bit of energy after taking.
