  • Take it at night, it will help you sleep better without the pain
    Anonymous
Taken for: Nerve pain from spinal cord injury
Duration taken: A year or so
  • I did find it took my body a bit to get used to the drug, I did have some dizziness. The pain relief was worth every penny. It's the best I have felt in years!
    Taken for: Fibromyalgia
    Duration taken: A couple weeks
  • Was to start at 25 mg. 2x/day & work my way up to 100 mg./day over 6 weeks. Made me so groggy that I couldn't function or notice if it worked. I couldn't clean, cook, or drive. Will not ever use again. Acupuncture works much better.

  • It enhances the effects of other drugs, so avoid alcohol at all costs. Causes sleepiness so take it at night. Taking it for Generalised Anxiety Disorder, and I can't say it has helped greatly.

  • Start slowly and work your way up. Even experiment taking it with or without food to get rid of the initial side effects.

  • Great if you're thin, but if on the heavy side ask for something different as this medication will put weight on you, don't stop it suddenly as the withdrawals are horrendous, go to your gp or neurologist to set out a plan to be weaned off
