  • I wish I had known about the large number of side effects. Legs swelled to above the knee right away and diuretics did not help. Sense of smell decreased. Too many others to list. Didn't help BP much.

  • I wish I had been warned of the swelling of feet & ankles so I would never have started it. I hardly eat anything with salt because I thought that was the problem until I just went on line. Will be talking to my doctor about an alternative.

  • No side effects experienced after first couple of weeks from commencement. Initially a little dizziness. Taken in addition to olmesartan (Olmetec). Resting BP constantly ranges 118/65 to 130/75 but usually around lower reading.

  • This drug worked well for my blood pressure but caused unbearable side effects. I had swollen ankles and knees that were very painful. I also had "hot knees and ankles"... they were red and hot to the touch after any activity. The redness, swelling and pain subsided soon after I switched drugs.
