  • You MUST take a stool softener or you will get SEVERE constipation when taking oxycodone. I spent two weeks dealing with stomach issues after I stopped taking it.

    Pain (moderate to severe)
  • My pain mgmt doctor worked hard to find the right med, dosage and least side effects that manages my pain and improved my quality of life and remaining somewhat functional. Now I worry d/t doctors being pressured to stop prescribing it.

  • Oxy worked as advertised after orthopedic surgery, however the addictive nature of opioids seems to be way understated. Sure, most people don't get hooked and end up on heroin, but many DO. For some, these drugs pave the road to hell.

  • Really bad constipation at higher doses. Long term use has consequences that you should definitely consider should you choose this for chronic pain long term, such as hormonal changes, depression, brain fog, and of course dependency.

  • Eat well can cause constipation unless u eat ,,right ,, helped me more than any other ,but I recommend locking it up and only carting what you are suppose to take a day , and if you get 4 a day don't take more a day ,if I take iam pain free

  • I take 5 mg. prn (only as needed) for severe pain. Don't expect a medication to remove ALL pain. I take this medicine to bring the pain down to a tolerable level. I don't expect to have NO pain, but to have quality of life.

  • I've taken 80 mg 2x.a day for over a decade for a spine injury. For me it works well as long as I keep myself on a disciplined schedule. Bc it is a slow release medication it's better to not let the pain get ahead of the meds.
