  • had trouble getting 2xday covered by insurance, but sending in results of a gastroscopy did the trick

  • Helped for a couple months, then I started getting acid reflux WAY worse than ever before. I stopped taking it and thankfully the acid reflux got better again. Would not recommend for extended amounts of time.

  • I have had Acid reflux since my early teens, I always took over-the-counter anti acids, but always felt sick. Not until I was around 19 my PCP started trying all the prescriptions on me, and finally at 21-22 my new PCP gave me a sample of Protonix. It was a miracle worker! I was on it for about a yr. Then was okay for a gd amount of time 3-4yrs ago I started to feel Nauseas and have heartburn all the time, I found out I had ulcers now, Protonix has been the only thing to help

  • Substitutes don't work for me. The minute I take a substitute within 48 hours I have symptoms again. For me its either Pantoprazole or Brand name Protonix only!

  • To much insurance non sense it works until the insurance company starts hassling you then the heartburn comes back from the stress ugh!

  • It caused far more problems than it tried to help fix. Severe gas and diarrhea kicked in about 2 weeks after starting. Discontinued and went back to pepcid.
