  • Rarely, Rozerem (ramelteon) can cause severe allergic reactions. This can happen as quickly as the first dose. If you feel your throat closing up, swelling in your lips or tongue, or you have trouble breathing after taking Rozerem (ramelteon), call 911 or go to the emergency room right away.
