  • It’s not clear if Sonata (Zaleplon) can harm your unborn baby. Studies in animals showed risk and it should only be used during pregnancy if benefits outweigh risks. Sonata (Zaleplon) passes into breast-milk. Most of it passes 1 hour after you take it. Since it only takes a small amount of medicine to be significant in your baby’s body don't take Sonata (Zaleplon) if you're breast-feeding.
