How it works

Accuretic (quinapril / hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination medication containing quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide. Quinapril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, which helps blood vessels relax. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that removes extra water and certain electrolytes, which lowers blood pressure and reduces swelling. Together, they lower blood pressure and allow more oxygen to get to your heart and other organs.
