Reviewed unsureon 5/9/2019Im never myself again! Im so upset why my np prescribed me this med! Why patients are not adviced that this med might lower potassium. Until now i have this fast heart rate and i never had problems with my heart before.

Reviewed Nifedipineon 12/23/2016I come from a long line of people with chronic hypertension. I was first prescribed Procardia XL during pregnancy, when Aldomet no longer worked to regulate my blood pressure and Labetalol gave me debilitating headaches. My youngest child is now five and I'm still happily taking Procardia XL 30 mg. I did have swelling in my calves and ankles initially but it subsided with time. It controls my BP well and I've never had to alter my lifestyle because of it.
