  • Diarrhea is the most common side effect with Farydak (panobinostat), which can be dangerous if you're dehydrated. Your doctor will talk to you about medicines you can take to treat it. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated. Talk to your doctor right away if you have more than 4 stools a day.

    This is a black box warning. The FDA requires this warning when there is a significant risk of serious or life-threatening effects that anyone taking the drug should consider.

Kidneys and liver
  • Farydak (panobinostat) can damage your liver. Your doctor will do regular blood tests to check your liver, and they might have to change your dose if your liver dose get damaged. Talk to your doctor right away if you have abdominal pain, fever, weakness, yellowing in your skin or the whites of your eyes, or light colored stool.
