Reviewed Cayaon 1/29/2017The diaphragm is a great option for someone in a committed relationship for whom a pregnancy is not the end of the world. Are you looking to space your kids, but not use hormones in between? It should be covered by insurance, and won't run out like pills will (so it will still be here for your when Trump takes away our other contraception). It doesn't interfere with spontaneity as you can place it up to 6 hours before intercourse.

    Some hassle
Reviewed unsureon 1/28/2017The diaphram worked really well for us, but I found the spermicide to take the whole next day to totally leave my body and it was pretty gross and slimy. Also, it meant that sex was almost always scheduled because I didn't want to put in the diaphram if we didn't need it and didn't want to have sex if we weren't using it. I had some irritation from the spermicide early on, but it went away over time.
